LWT and the 2 Hour ASRA Endurance on Duc 1000 – Not According to Plan

It doesn’t always go according to the plan. This is our 3rd attempt racing this Ducati Supersport in an endurance race. While things started off well having an awesome 3-way battle for the lead against a Yamaha R7 and RS660 in the GTL class; things turned south. The Killswitch was bumped while riding ( as seen in the video below) and lost a lap trying to get the bike fired back up. During the 1st pitstop our one-way valve for the tank overflow vent acted as a siphon and was pumping out fuel. We lost roughly 10 laps during this stop. It’s the exact same set up we had used in the 2023 WERA 4 Hour at Summit with no issues; just goes to show you should always be more prepared than you can imagine. Paul and Sean finished their stints however when it came time to see where we actually finished, we were nowhere to be found. Infact, we show up as a DNS in the results. Some day we will put this Duc on the box.
