We’ve featured another one of Sean’s Ducati 1000DS race bikes quite a few years ago but he’s back with another. This one is very similar in many ways but produces even more power. It’s 2 valve powerplant is extremely potent and blows the other one out of the water. It’s ported heads, oversized valves and 1123cc piston allow this machine to produce roughly 125hp.

Weighing in around 330lbs allows this bike to handle extremely well and makes that potent powerplant punch out of corners better than you can imagine. A few key items helped drop the weight of this machine. Magnesium Marchesini wheels, ETi composite fuelcel, and a customer aluminum subframe were among a few of those things.

The upper, tank and tail are vinyl wrapped while the belly pan and front fender remain in raw carbon.

Supersports suffer from dragging their exhausts when thrown into race situations. Like many other supersport race builds, this one also features an undertail exhaust.
Weight was trimmed off but cutting the stock rear brake rotor and hanger… and of course that marchesini magnesium rear rim.
Because of the frame geometry, the clip-ons go on top of the triple clamp. The forks are long enough to get the ideal numbers and allow the bar placement.
Wrong camera setting leads to some Blurry Ohlins caps. Custom offset triple clamps also fell victim to incorrect focal length.
Lightweight NCR oil cooler keeps the temps on this powerhouse down.
MotoCorse Billet fork lugs are used on the stock showa forks.
The upper is a mix of NCR Millona and Supersport.
