1st Gen SV650 Supersport Minitwin Walkaround / Gallery

1st Gen Suzuki SV650 Race bike for your Supersport / Superstock / Minitwin classes. This one was put together for AHRMA’s Sound of Thunder 3. Our friend Joey got our of racing and handed over his bike. We stripped it down and refreshed everything but the engine. Frame was paint pearl black. The Suspension was sent out to Zoran @ TWFRacing. He installed his Showa GSXR carts with Racetech Gold Valves and revalved the Penske Double in the back. Ben gave us his old Endurance Engineering subframe to use which was mated with a ZX10 tail. The Triumph 675R fairings are from another friend’s (wayne) 2nd Gen SV650 race bike. Fairing stay is from Robem Engineering and actually meant for RSV4 fairings on 2nd Gen SV. More thanks to friends are the Scotts Damper (Will), Quick Turn Throttle (Ben), and Aim Mychron 3 Dash (Zoran). The harness was chopped down. Ignition is now a switch on the top triple clamp and to start the bike is a push button originally meant as a dirtbike killswitch. Nearly every single bolt on the bike is titanium or aluminum. (still waiting on front caliper bolts). For the forward controls we have Lighttech clip ons, ODI Grips, MSR Clutch perch, Braking CAM-B1 master, and woodcraft lever guard. The power plant and carbs are unmodified. Few nice dents in the tank and some old beat up fairings are not great but we will end up smashing this into the ground at some point anyway.
