The 2019 MotoAmerica Twins Cup series has consistently had big grids all season, provided plenty of on track entertainment, a fair amount of off track drama, a bit of social-media fodder, and another closely contested championship points race.  As the penultimate round gets set to run at New Jersey Motorsports Park (NJMP) this weekend, multi-year Jr Cup competitor Jackson Blackmon has decided that he wants to get in on the Twins Cup action.

An impromptu test session was quickly coordinated to assess Jackson’s potential to run competitive laptimes, not that there was really any doubt, and plans were set in motion.  18-year-old Jackson Blackmon, from Rock Hill, SC, will race a #18 RBoM Racing/CopoulosBuilt/Robem Engineering/Finishline Machine Suzuki SV650 at NJMP with a performance-based option to also compete in the Twins Cup finale at Barber Motorsports Park on Sept.22nd .

Currently sitting 5th in the Jr Cup championship standings, Jackson Blackmon will still finish out the season in the Jr Cup class on a MonkeyMoto/AGVSports/Valor Farms/Blud Lubricants Kawasaki Ninja 400 in quest of a few more podium finishes to add to his hard-fought 3rd-place performance at PittRace.  It hasn’t been an easy year in Jr Cup for Jackson Blackmon, but motivation is still high and mixing things up with the Twins Cup front-runners will add a fun, new challenge and should prove beneficial to Jackson’s racing endeavors.

RBoM Racing continues to support the MotoAmerica Twins Cup class with the help of Yoshimura R&D USA, Millennium Technologies, Robem Engineering, Rapid Bike USA, and Woodcraft Technologies.

Jackson Blackmon’s personal sponsors include Finishline Machine, Blud Lubricants, Rock Hill Powersports, HJC Helmets, AGVSport, SBS Brakes, and Motion Pro.
