Jared Trees takes Mid Ohio Vintage Motorcycles Days Win and Lap Record on Suzuki SV650

The Vintage Motorcycle Days even held at Mid Ohio is one of the biggest motorcycle events of the year in the United States. Motocross, Road Racing, swap meets, and one big party that brings thousands of people together for this event. Since this is LWT Racer, we mainly like to focus on the lightweight twins racing and with WERA hosting the road racing we got some lightweight class races.

Mid Ohio has been nearly unrideable for many years due to the horrible traction levels (especially in the morning) but has recently got a nice repave. New pavement means fast times to be seen. Jared Trees, who has competed in quite a few MotoAmerica twins Cup races was in attendance and took home victories in Lightweight Twins Sueprbike and Formula 2. Jared’s best time on his Bridgestone shod SV650 was a 1:34.483 and now the current Lap Record for Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

PS: The SV650 lives on as a competitive bike for the lightweight class.
