A wet and wild race at NJMP that came down to .003 for the victory. Kris Turner gets his first win of the season and I am sure it won’t be his last in the series.
Both Championship leaders would go down coming out of turn 1 only to pick up their bikes and finish the race. Parrish shifter would break in his crash but that did not stop him. Parrish was forced to suicide shift his Ghetto Customs Suzuki SV650. Madama lost his shield and zipper on his leathers but pushed on through. The FZ rider would eventually end up 3rd due to Renzo Ferreira being DQ’d for riding a Ducati 796 which is not currently homologated. The Quarterly Racing Team knew that this would happen and it was more of a test to see how the bike stacked up against the SV and FZ.
Bart Defrancesco was also down in turn 1 but like Madama and Parrish would pick up his machine and finish the race in an impressive 4th. His Teammate George Demetropolis was not so lucky as he crashed out of the lead
Championship points.. 2. The difference is 2 points between leader Chris Parrish and 2nd Jason Madama. The series heads to Barber where we will decide the inaugural MA Twins cup championship.
