MotoAmerica Twins : Rule Change | All Kawasaki Ninja 650 allowed | Carrillo Rods Allowed

MotoAmerica has made a couple rule changes to encourage participation in the class.
1st: You can now use connecting rods that are lighter than stock. Prior to this rule change you had to use rods that were the same weight or heavier which ruled out almost any aftermarket rod. This was detrimental to the SV650 because both of the Carrillo options (A and H beam) were lighter than stock.
2nd: Quackers got the same treatment as the SV and older years are now allowed. 2006 and up are can enter the race. There aren’t many of these out there here in the states but hopefully we see some surface.
