Race 1 was very wet and Dominic Doyle (Yamaha R7) is proving himself to be the master of the twins when it comes with these conditions. Doyle punished the field by coming over the line 10 seconds clear of 2nd place Alessandro Di Mario who was 2 seconds ahead of Rocco Landers in 3rd. Race 2 came down to the line with Rocco Landers (Suzuki GSX8) taking the win by .154 over Di Mario (Aprilia RS660). Rossi Moor on the M4 Suzuki GSX8 came home in 3rd ~8 seconds behind the leaders.

Alessandro Di Mario is at it again when it comes to going the fastest. He didn’t just break the lap record at Road America; he absolutely crushed it by 2.3 seconds. The previous record was set in 2022 by Dominic Doyle at a 2:26.682. Alessandro posted a 2:23.321; this is simply not a fathomable time on a lightweight twin.

Quick Note : Doyle’s time was done on the old pavement so we can see the new pavement helped all the riders improve time.
