Zoran’s Aprilia SXV / RS250 Hybrid

Zoran at TWF Racing (Twins Works Factory then) in 2007 build a hybrid based of an Aprilia RS250. Aprilia had just come out with the SXV series, and the team decided to mate the two together. Zoran modified the RS frame to take the SXV engine. He also made an aluminum fuelcel and airbox. A custom exhaust with Leo Vince muffler was used to finish it off. While the engines made awesome horsepower and low weight to match; the engine had issues and came apart multiple times. Once to fix the oil/coolant leak fix and finally it snapped a connecting rod punching a hole in the case. The bike was never fixed and sold blown up.
