Alex Dumas got an awesome launch and would run in the first position with Michael Barnes on his tail. Barnes took over the lead position and set sail. While checking out, Barnes was able to set a new lightweight twins lap record. Barnes’ Ducati would have a mechanical, what looked like smoking coming from the front cylinder, and force him to retire from the race. The lead was handed back over the Dumas who won by 12.5 seconds. The battle for 2nd was a hot one. Draik Beauchamp had to fend of Blasius, Turner, and Parrish. Parrish drove around the outside of Blasius forcing the M4 Suzuki rider off the track. In the last turn, Turner dove up the inside of both Parrish and Beauchamp. Turner and Beauchamp were forced wide and allowed Parrish to carve back under them. The power of Draik’s Yamaha MT07 shot him directly past both Suzuki riders before getting into turn one. Parrish would try another outside move on Beauchamp but low sided in the process taking the defending champ out of hte race. Kris Turner lost some pace due to arm pump. Out of no where came Joseph Blasius. He caught Beauchamp and make the #77 work for the 2nd place. Blasius got close but couldn’t get it done.

With Barnes not able to finish the race and score points, he would surrender the championship points lead to Beauchamp. Beauchamp leads Dumas by a single point and only 2 points over Barnes. The series heads to Pittsburgh in 2 weeks.
