A fierce battle up front between Bradley Champion, Chris Caylor, and David Yaakov had passes back and forth. Champion and Caylor started to put on a bit of a gap on Yaakov. On the penultimate lap, Champion attempted to get a drive on Caylor to out draft him on the back stretch which caused him to high side his SV650. Yaakov ran over Champion’s leg sending #31 to the ground causing a red flag and ending the race. Even tho Yaakov was down in the red flag crash, he was awarded 2nd place as Champion was the cause of the red flag.
