WERA/N2 4hr Endurance @ Summit Point – LWT Vlogs

WERA/N2 hosted the 4 hour Endurance race at Summit Point Raceway in West Virginia. The race did not go according to plan for LWT60 (Tyler Humphreys, Tommy Wilson, Sam Wiest). A Power commander failure in the first hour of the race left the team many laps down before getting the bike back on track. At the 1hr 10min mark, Humphreys would pit sending Tommy Wilson out. Wilson would go on to complete his 1 hour and 30 minute stint (max the bike can do on it’s 6 gallon endurance tank). After arriving in the pits, it was clear the race was over for LWT60 as the cords were showing on their Pirelli SC2 180/60 slick. With no spare rim/tire ready, they were done.
LWT61 (Will Finnerty, Ray Capozucca, Paul Dougherty, Sean Dougherty) had smooth laps, and smooth pit stops . The team finished up in 4th place. A rear wheel change half way through the race most likely cost them a podium position. The team ran the Pirelli 160/60 SC2.
