“Action” Jackson Blackmon is on a roll. First it was NJ in late 2019 which was followed up by Roebling in early 2020; now with his first outing at Road America with MotoAmerica, Jackson Blackmon once again has set a lightweight twins & MA Twins lap record. Jackson started off the weekend fast but not record fast. Kaleb De Keyrel (Yamaha MT07) was under the lap record in qualifying but late in the weekend, race 2, Blackmon was able to find a little bit extra on his Robem Engineering Suzuki SV650.

Kris Turner set the class track record in the 2019 twins cup race with an amazing lap of 2.29.702. Jackson Blackmon was able to best Turner’s with a 2:28.584. Blackmon finished 2nd in the race .001 in front of Rocco Landers and .081 behind Kaleb De Keyrel. Doesn’t get much closer than that. Twins are back at Road America in one month, don’t be surprised if we see another record. v

Congratulations Jackson Blackmon and Robem Engineering.
